This image capped off an evening of trying to capture some of the wonderful sights in Düsseldorf, Germany. The moon was just rising above a church across some water. I’d have rather had a tripod, but made do with what was at hand: a railing.
There were way too many angles and locations to shoot the cathedral. And the people watching (with the Hauptbahnhof right around the corner and a Christmas Market in the square) was incredible. The sun peaked out for a bit which created even more wonderful contrasts.
It finally stopped raining on our last day in Bergen and I was able to walk around and snap some photos. Bergen was a great city to explore and I’m looking forward to going back.
