Vestmannaeyjar Archipelago, Iceland

Despite the 30 minute ferry ride from hell (really choppy seas) we had a great trip to this island off the coast of Iceland…the hometown of our Icelandic son. And despite the rain, we got out and saw a few things including the museum dedicated to the 1973 volcanic eruption and a Stave Church donated by Norway. Pretty cool place and I’m looking forward to coming back next year.
