Have you ever…?
ByHere’s a new Saturday feature I’m going to call “Have You Ever…?” Each Saturday I’ll ask a different question and you fill in the answer and anything you want to share about it.
Today’s question:
Have you ever visited a country in the middle east? Where and why?

What a great idea!!! I was in Turkey in 1990. The history there is amazing from colliseum where John the Baptist spoke to I think the remains of one of the first libraries and artistry passed down from generation to generation.
Thanks for asking.

I’d love to visit Turkey.
I’ve got photos like that. I just take a picture of them with my iPhone. Quality isn’t perfect, but good enough for FB and friends!
I have been to Kuwait, UAE, Egypt and Turkey. My ex-husband was from Kuwait, thus I was married there, honeymooned in UAE, vacationed in Egypt and Turkey. All were very beautiful countries with the people being very kind. I loved riding horseback through the pyramids!
Any pictures of you on horseback by the pyramids?
I’ve visited Turkey in 1991 on a Jan-term trip for Manchester. And then I’ve also been to Egypt, Israel, and the West Bank in 1995 where I did Brethren Volunteer Service.
I totally forgot you did those trips! Is there something you remover vividly about the Jan Term trip?
